I ordered a Conair Infiniti Pro Spin Air Rotating Styler on 22nd February 2015 on AMAZON INDIA. I received it on the mentioned address on 1st March and picked it up from there on 3rd March. The very same day I requested a refund since on trying the product for 2 minutes (literally), a bunch of my hair fell off.
Since then I have been constantly following up through mails and phone calls even getting in touch with two AMAZON INDIA leadership managers- Devendra and Arti.
I get the following answers:
1) The product cannot be returned because it has been opened.
How is a consumer not supposed to open the product, check it and return it claiming that it is damaging my hair?
2) The seller IBHEJO is not taking the product back.
How is it a consumer’s business to fight the seller on the website while amazon india takes no responsibility of the product.
I have been utterly harassed as a consumer, constantly trying to get this sorted and talking to the executives and mailing every day. I have been reassured every time that something will be done but no action has been taken.
